Welcome to the official website of the Anglican Diocese of Antananarivo.
About us
The Diocese of Antananarivo was established in January 1969, following the division of the Diocese of Madagascar. It is part of the Eklesia Episkopaly Malagasy (Malagasy Episcopal Church) – the national structure of the Anglican Church in Madagascar, and within the Province of the Indian Ocean in the Anglican Communion.
Our mission is to continue sharing the word of God through evangelisation, social outreach, community development, education and training, volunteering and ministering to all with God’s love.
Our theme from the XVI DIOCESAN SYNOD is:
“Churches working together, and bearing witness of love and good deeds in Christ.”
